4 Kids Cooking Classes You Won’t Want to Miss This Winter

With snow showers and below-freezing temperatures dominating the forecast this month, you’re probably looking to plan some indoor fun for the kids this season. If you’re local to Navarre or Chanhassen, a Cookie Cups cooking class is the perfect weekend activity for the whole family. 

During each two-hour lesson, your expert instructor will take you step-by-step through cooking (and tasting!) a hand-selected menu. Your ticket also includes a specialty drink from our café, plus a Cookie Cup pack for you to take home with you. 

We’re always planning exciting new themed classes, and we’ve got plenty coming up this winter to get you out of the cold and into our warm, toasty kitchen. Here are a few of our upcoming kids cooking classes you won’t want to miss.

Family Microwave Cooking Hacks: January 26

Let’s face it: life is busy, and we don’t always have enough time to prep and cook a full meal on the stovetop. That’s why we’ve got an afternoon’s worth of microwave cooking hacks that the whole family will love! We’ll teach you how to make omelettes, three cheese mac and cheese, loaded baked potatoes, and even chocolate cake cups for dessert. This class is for parents and kids ages 3 and up. 

Kids Valentine’s Day Baking Class: February 9

Valentine’s Day is coming up, and what better way to celebrate than by baking delicious Valentine’s-inspired goodies at our kids baking class? Whatever sweet treats you like, our menu has something for everyone. We’ll be baking and decorating sugar cookies, cookies and cream cake pop bouquets, and red velvet cake bites. This class is for kids ages 6-9. 

Kids Italian Cooking Class: February 29

Rich, flavorful meatballs, fresh-baked garlic bread...there’s nothing like homemade Italian cuisine, and it’s even better when you learn how to make it yourself. If you and your family love the flavors of Italy, sign up for this fun-filled class. You’ll cook and taste a delicious, authentic menu that will transport you right to the Tuscan countryside or the Sicilian coast.

Want to celebrate a special occasion or just do something fun with the family? For a unique experience that you and your loved ones will always remember, book a private cooking or baking class with us. We’ll work with you to schedule a date and select a custom menu for your group. Classes require a minimum of six people to book, and children under 10 must be accompanied by an adult.
