The world looks a whole lot different than it did a few short weeks ago.

With self-quarantining and social distancing in full effect across the country, businesses like ours have had to significantly adjust our operations in the wake of COVID-19. However, we are still committed to serving our customers – even if it's from afar.

Many consumers are looking for ways to support their favorite local businesses that have had to close due to coronavirus. In that spirit, we want to share a few things we're doing here at The Cookie Cups to keep our virtual doors open. As a bonus, supporting us during this time will give you and your family something fun to look forward to when the quarantine period is over!

1. Purchase a discounted gift certificate.

We are currently offering Cookie Cups gift certificates at 10% off regular price. No code is needed to receive the discount, and any certificate purchased has no expiration date. Our gift certificates can be used toward anything in the shop, including future cooking classes!

2. Order coffee for delivery.

Now, you can order 12-oz. bags of our gourmet coffee for delivery right to your doorstep. Each of our three tasty flavors – Morning Blend, Chocolate Raspberry, and Dulce de Leche – is locally roasted right here in Minnesota, so you're guaranteed the same fresh, smooth taste you'd get in our café.

3. Reserve a spot at our Kids Cooking Class Camp.

We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation daily, but right now, we are still planning to host our annual Kids Cooking Class Camp this summer! We are currently accepting reservations for our kickoff week of camp (June 16 – 18), and plan to add more themed camp weeks throughout Summer 2020.

First up is "International Week," where kids age 7 – 11 will learn how to make restaurant-quality cuisine from Asia, Italy and Japan. On each of our three Camp days, we'll be making several varieties of Asian Egg Rolls (June 16), Italian Meatballs (June 17), and Japanese Sushi (June 17). You can book individual dates or the full three-day session!

4. Pre-book your child's birthday party.

With all the uncertainty about coronavirus, it can be hard to plan for events right now. However, if you are planning a birthday party in late 2020 or early 2021, we would love to help you pre-book your child's special celebration at The Cookie Cups.

Your two-hour party includes exclusive use of our Chanhassen or Navarre store for your child and their guests. Choose from our themed party packages, including Pizza Making, Tacos, and Baking and Decorating. The kids will have a great time creating and eating their delicious treats, guided by a Cookie Cups instructor.

You can learn more about our private birthday parties in this blog post.

Thank you to our loyal customers, and we hope to be able to see you in our bakeries again soon!
